Alice Witheridge is a textile designer with 12 years industry experience for retail and designer brands.

After graduating from The University of Leeds in 2007 with a degree in Fashion Design she began her career as a Design Assistant for high street retailer Jigsaw. Her passion for all things textiles quickly promoted her to become the in-house Print Design/Developer.

After Jigsaw Alice moved to one of the most established, and longest running creative textile design studios in London, Helena Gavshon, who she still freelances for today.

House Alice was founded in 2020 when the idea was born to make the leap into designing her own range of products. You will find lampshades, wallpapers, personalised art prints, notebooks, sweatshirts, stationary and more. Her style fuses a love of all things ethnic with a colour pop twist. A minimalist at heart, but with maximalist tendencies means her designs can be used as stand alone statement pieces against neutrals, or within a full on riot of pattern.

All designs are originally created by hand, in her studio using a variety of textile mediums.
